Are we happy with the christmas rotation?

I am amazed.

Three people have voted yes so far.

I really can't think up any names that would come up if I referenced against the people who are actually active and enjoy the quality of the maps, which pretty much is what this poll is about.

@inu.

As I have stated, I have nothing against the event in itself, infact I would love to see more cycles based upon theme, however, using crappy maps results in a crappy cycle and I for one would like to see that improved.

As for the whole snow-thing, that's merely a reference to the winter theme, nothing more, nothing less.

Secondly, I did not start this topic to remind, urge, enforce, prune or any similar action to bring up the rules concerning activity, they have been made clear enough on its own.

As for the people who actually casted a vote ... Feedback?

I like the Christmas maps. They rotate for 1 month out 12 every year. Today was the second day of December, it's way too early to start Grinching.

So far it seems to be 53-54% Yes.

If you know of any higher quality Holiday season maps, then post'em. ^_^

Until then, I see no reason to rid ourselves of the maps in rotation. We can do away with the bots. Voting is enabled for changing to the next map in rotation. Let the last map run through it's 90 minutes. It should kick off the restarting of the map cycle.

The maps currently in rotation are also maps we have used in Christmas's past. Adding to our collection as new maps emerge, so we are always looking for new maps. B)

1. Not what I had in mind when creating this poll, nor ever requested such a feat.

2. Actually, if you could add g_allowNPC "0" to the vstr command(s) in which maps bot support is not available, that would be very help full and very much appreciated with myself and Verlathor.

And me as well. Darn bots...

And for full disclosure, I voted no. I dislike most of the maps.

1. I made a suggestion to rid the server of bots during the x-mas rotation as a compromise. Since you don't want that option then your poll is just a poll. The maps in rotation have been voted to remain in rotation by your peers.

2. The vstr commands are not individually configured with anything other than the global configurations.

I detect some confusion. So I edited the quote as to how I interpreted it.

Hope it makes some sense.

1. Correct.

2. Bots and NPC's are two completely different things.

Bots = [AoF]Dragonynewt, [AoF]Shipout, [AoF]Elkroadkill, etc...

NPC's = Vehicles, tauntauns, reborn sith, etc...
