Just for some fun...

I may only allow this to occur IF, by Friday 5:00PM EST Each master and/or padawan has posted what training they have provided and/or received that week.

I believe in positive reinforcement. And if those who are currently at the master/padawan levels can prove to us, and you that they are not tying up the system and are indeed working towards improving themselves and their peers, then the reward of a blasters/melee weekend would be approved. This will reflect to us how committed you are to this master/padawan relationship, and can serve to promote more activity during the weeks so that you may accomplish this training within an acceptable amount of time. Probably shouldn't have padawans waiting around for 6 months with minimal training, then just toss them to the wolves. No one gains for that.

So yes... I think that is what I shall require. Of course I will formally provide you with the councils expectations of you and your master/padawan trainings.

I personally don't see any redeeming qualities in the new patch. On the contrary, I find the swear filter annoying and useless. We were much better at controlling that sort of thing (by letting it fly for the most part and just watching to make sure it didn't get out of hand...). I think its silly when you lose an entire sentence because you naturally want to include a word that the swear filter deems bad. Also, you can't say anything in admin/clan/private chat either... wtf?

Perhaps it will modify the speech behavior of our members and guests. A few months of swear filter, then no swear filter. ^_^

It's a little experiment. B)

We can play with the swear filter and see if we can't get around certain aspects. That or I can try and pull apart the code and modify it to our needs, much like Slider did with other mods as he built JA+. Copy, paste, and skew.

Yeah, and maybe set perameters, like... can't swear in public chat, but in clan/admin chat you can. Probably just in clan chat since any fool could spam admin chat.
