Not sure I can LIMIT a Force power to a specific level. I can limit the # of Force points.

Not sure if I can raise the limit on ammo or even provide certain weapons from the get go.

I can disable pull and saber defense and slow down the Regen of Force.

I've gone ahead and provided starting Mercs with
MELEE
THERMAL
BLASTER
ROCKET_LAUNCHER
DISRUPTOR
TRIP_MINE
WP_REPEATER

Removed Force Power Pull.
Removed saber DEFENSE.

Set Force to whatever 4 is.

Awaiting test results.

^tried it out.

1. push needs to be restricted to lv2 (if you find a way) to where it's enough to deflect weapons and push mercs over an edge but not so it pushes them across the map or an easy splat kill.

2. mercs need more to work with in the jump area i couldn't even jump a small bump.

overall this idea for a server is great we just need to keep balancing it like starcraft and you could update the MOTD so that people know how to become a merc because the small message at the top left isn't always noticed, especially by new players.

edit: also the bots need to go.

is there a way to let Mercs have like.. Jump level 1?

To my knowledge, there is not a way to provide only certain levels of any skill to any class; outside of creating a custom siege map.

1. You removed cloak? I thought that was a useful merc feature, especially if they have to run around for ammo.

2. Should bring back lightning and drain for DS. I understand grip but there is still a use for the other force powers and last time I checked mercs don't need force even if they're drained.

3. Protect for LS seems overpowered, should be removed.

4. PLEASE REMOVE THE BOTS.
